How we are surviving during Covid-19

Thursday, April 2nd, 2020

We’d like to thank everyone for their continued patience while we do our best to stay on top of the news and keep our team and our customers safe during this uncertain time.

To keep our team – and you – safe, we’re sanitizing even more than usual, the employees are keeping a 6’ distance from each other within the shop and we’re closed to foot traffic.  Our vendors are delivering outside the building and we’re handing any delivered parts with caution. We are taking this very seriously.

We are thankful that we can continue to make progress on the cars in the shop and communicate with those of you waiting to get your vehicle in with us.

We are requesting no customers at the shop.

Please email or call for updates or questions – we know that this is a huge departure from our typical open door policy and we’re looking forward to the day we can operate with that policy in place again.  We thank you in advance for understanding.

If your car is on-site, we’re still moving ahead with the work.

If you’re on the waitlist, we appreciate your patience as we work through the cars on-site and make room for the incoming cars.

If you were scheduled for an estimate, we will resume those appointments as soon as it’s safe.

If you’re waiting to schedule an estimate, we will resume scheduling as soon as it’s safe.

If you’d like to schedule an estimate, please email us at DandLRestoration@gmail.com. We will keep you updated and you’ll be on the list for estimates once restrictions are lifted and people are safe.

We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for sticking with us through this situation. We will continue to update you as the news rolls in, thank you.

On a personal note, I’d like to ask for grace with our communication during this time, we have an 8-year-old who is now home full time and I am learning to juggle homeschool with my responsibilities at D&L Restoration.  I’m committed to making this new normal work during this virus but our communication may slow down as I find my balance. As always, please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Stay safe!

From our family to yours,

Laura & Louie Cohn

1960 Austin Healey – Congrats to Ron for his Gold Concourse Award!

Tuesday, July 20th, 2010

We recently finished Ron’s 1960 Austin Healy 3000.  He loaded up and headed to OR for Concours D’Elegance.  This beautiful car and proud owner qualified for Gold with only 22.5 points total deducted (out of 1000).  Most of those points were mechanical deductions – ZERO deductions on paint and bodywork:  We’re proud of our work and thrilled with Ron’s award!

here are some before and after shots of this great car:
